About me

Limomane Adolph Peshoane is a seasoned climate change and environmental policy expert with over two decades of experience spanning meteorology, disaster risk management, and sustainable development. Currently serving as Programme Specialist and Head of Energy & Environment at UNDP Lesotho, he leads strategic planning, project implementation, and partnerships to advance climate resilience and environmental sustainability. With a strong technical foundation—including an MSc in Applied Meteorology from the University of Reading—and extensive experience as a senior meteorologist and climate policy specialist, Limomane has contributed to national and international climate initiatives, including UNFCCC engagement and mainstreaming climate policy into development planning. He combines leadership expertise with advanced analytical and modeling skills, and brings a proven track record in resource mobilization, stakeholder coordination, and translating complex climate science into actionable solutions for governments and communities
